I went to Walmart for a few things and came home with a fall couch refresh. These three pillows looked good together in the store, and they look even better on my sofa.
The dark caramel velvet pillow brings in a warm fall color without going straight to orange. Its stitched grid adds texture, while the menswear plaid lumbar pillow pulls in cream, brown, and burgundy. The dark piping gives the plaid a nice finished edge.
And then there’s the cream bouclé pumpkin. It reminds me of Pottery Barn’s Cozy Pumpkin Pillow: soft, textured, and a little more understated than most pumpkin decor. Tucked in front, it makes the whole arrangement feel like fall.
My favorite part is that the two regular pillows can stay when the pumpkin goes away. For now, though, I’m happy to have a little pumpkin on the couch.
